General classes:

At CGC we welcome children once they have reached 5 years of age. However, as a small club we cannot offer immediate spaces as we have a long waiting list. We encourage anyone interested to sign up to the waiting list even if their child is below the age of 5 at the time. We fill all our general classes from the waiting list.

We try to hold taster sessions at least once a year for people on the waiting list.

Tips for joining the waiting list:

  • Please use a personal email address as work emails may change and we don’t want people dropping off the list when they change job.
  • The years of birth are in a funny order- scroll down for younger children’s years of birth
  • You need to validate your email to join the list. Check your junk folder and do add the email address to your trusted senders to make sure you get communication from us.

At times we can also offer spaces in a general class if a parent/sibling/grandparent comes and helps at the club. This is dependent on availability of mentors. Most helpers go on to take coaching courses and become qualified coaches but no experience is needed at the start.

Development group and squad:

We have a small development group, squad group and level 6 group who train 1-3 times a week and may go on to compete in county and regional Women’s Artistic Gymnastics events. Entry into these groups is by invitation and not done through the waiting list system (we take around 1-4 children a year into the club this way). If your child has done competitive gymnastics before or is interested in the squad please us the contact form to get in touch and let us know more about their experience.

We’re sorry we can’t welcome you to the club straight away but do try our learn at home pages for ideas to build your child’s love of gymnastics and general fitness.
